The 8 hour work day was introduced during the Novemberrevolution 1918/1919. In the 60s the 5 day work week was fought for. Since then we have not seen any further reductions of labour time, even though productivity has increased immensely.
This has to change. ADH supports the Pan-European fight for a 30 hour or 4 day work week. The policy has enormous advantages for each individual, which earns more free time, and for workers as a class, which gain more power.
